Sunflowers again...

You all are probably bored of all this about sunflowers. Sorry. But just in case you aren't here's another post about sunflowers.
Sunflowers and Vincent van Gogh. This a point where both mine and Kami's obsessions cross. She loves sunflowers, I love Vincent van Gogh. This picture is a win-win!

Sunflower Update!

I talked about Kami's sunflowers(and her obsession) in an earlier post a few weeks ago. Now the sunflower seeds are almost ready to be harvested! Which makes her happy and sad at the same time. Happy that tasty seeds are on the way, but sad that the plant will soon meet it's demise. So sad. So very, very sad........... Okay, I'm over the sunflower deaths. Kami will probably morn for a while! Haha! Anyway, I'll try to get some pictures before the flowers are all dead, and maybe some pictures of the harvested seeds too!

New tutorials to come!

We are working on some new craft tutorials that might come out this summer! Probably not as much as we did last summer though. But until the new tutorials come out feel free to check out the older ones by clicking on different links in the "categories" section on the sidebar.

Sunflower Crazy

Kami has gone crazy and planted a billion sunflowers. I may be exaggerating, but only to help you get the point. There are MANY sunflowers. She has a thing for sunflowers, maybe a little too obsessed I think. They are her babies. She gives them all special attention and freaks out if any danger come near. Danger meaning a brothers boot, or a weed eater, or a hose, or strong wind that might knock them over. If any of those things come within like ten feet of her precious flowers, it better stop and go around the flower patch, wind included. Meanwhile I've been enjoying this super-weird-for-a-June-in-Texas weather. Oddly it's actually not been that bad. Breezy and warm. Yes, it's kinda usual, but it doesn't mean anything. We all know that this is just the start of sweat-to-death weather, but we can enjoy this while it lasts.

We have some new ideas cooking, so stay tuned. Once again, sorry blog, sorry readers, sorry ideas that are begging to be posted. Sorry for neglecting you!

"Spring Poetry"

Spring is finally here! This is one of my favorite seasons, it reminds me how great our God is. All the beautiful flowers He has created. Spring is the season of life! I'm not exactly sure how I came across this wonderful scripture, but I did and what better time to share it then now!
"For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away."
Song of Solomon 2:11-13 KJV

Spring is coming.

“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome."
